Hi, it's the La Converse team!
For several months, we have been working hard on a project that is very important to us. This project is not only intended to continue our mission of supporting dialogue journalism, but also to express our gratitude to you, who believe in us. You who have been accompanying us in this exceptional adventure for more than four years now.
Today, we are proud to announce some big news: the Fonds La Converse is officially launched!
This project took shape thanks to a valuable collaboration with an essential partner. Created in partnership with the Fondation du Grand Montréal, the La Converse Fund represents a unique opportunity to support our initiatives. Thanks to this fund, we can continue to use journalism as a tool for social change. By telling stories that break stereotypes, highlighting the issues and the realities of communities that are often invisible. Each of our stories is a lever for raising awareness, mobilizing and inspiring a society where journalism belongs to all.
Your support can make a real difference. Every donation you make directly contributes to amplifying these invisible voices and to strengthening inclusive and engaged journalism. In addition, your generosity is now rewarded: each donation is eligible for a tax receipt.

Why support the La Converse Fund?
The La Converse Fund, created in collaboration with the Fondation du Grand Montréal, aims to support human, transparent and inclusive journalism. Each of your contributions helps us to:
- Amplify underrepresented voices: Your donations allow you to give a platform to stories that are often ignored, by offering marginalized communities the space to share their reality.
- Encourage constructive dialogues: By supporting dialogue and exchange initiatives, you help build bridges between different communities and strengthen social cohesion.
- Strengthen journalistic independence: Your contributions support projects that aim to propose concrete solutions and maintain free and independent journalism.
- Train and integrate a diverse next generation of journalists: Thanks to your donations, you contribute to making journalism accessible to all, by offering opportunities to talent from all backgrounds.
How does it work?
Simply go to the La Converse Fund page to make your donation. Once your donation has been made, you will receive your tax receipt by email as well as all information concerning your donation.
It is important to note that the amount that will be paid to the fund will be the amount of the donation after deduction of transaction fees (between 2% and 3%). A Canadian tax receipt will be issued for donations greater than or equal to $20.
